President

Highly regarded for his extensive knowledge of insurance issues, his services are retained by Risk Managers, Insurance & Reinsurance companies, public entities & private industry.

His claims knowledge has been applied to asbestos, environmental liability, sexual abuse, and other large or continuing loss scenarios. Recognized for in-depth analysis and unbiased delivery, he is frequently consulted as an Expert Witness & has acted as a Mediator, Arbitrator & Umpire for dispute resolution.  Jim has recently been accepted as a member of the Toronto Commercial Arbitration Society

Jim has addressed the Canadian Bar Association Ontario, Law Society of Upper Canada, Canadian Institute of Actuaries, Insurance Institutes & Adjuster & Brokers Associations across Canada.

Sharon Cameron, BA, FCIP, CRM
Manager, Liability and Risk Management

Sharon Cameron has a 30 year career with the Insurance Industry. In her senior capacity as Director of Claims at Zurich Insurance she managed a department of senior claims examiners with a large volume of complex property, casualty & professional liability claims.

Sharon developed customized claims procedures for diverse commercial clients; from international corporations to professional associations such as accountants, lawyers & real estate professionals.

Sharon joined Cameron & Associates in 2004, where her ability to derive innovative strategies to resolve complex litigation issues is of particular benefit to clients concerned with increased loss costs. As the leader of the Audit Team, Sharon’s exceptional organizational skills & her goal oriented focus ensure that clients’ objectives are surpassed.

Brian Grieve, BA
Vice President

Brian Grieve has over 25 years of experience in property & casualty claims, primarily in management with several niche market Insurers.  As Vice President, Claim Services with Meloche Monnex, Brian oversaw the Ontario & Atlantic claims operations during a period a substantial growth as the company grew from $150 million in annual premiums to over $1.5 billion.

At Kingsway General Insurance, Brian managed a department of 60 staff & implemented claim controls and processes for compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley.

Brian joined Cameron & Associates in July 2008 where he applies his management experience in Business Development, Staff Recruitment, Audit & Business Process Improvement.
